Porta Portable Lighting System for Energy Efficient Temporary Lighting

The Porta, developed by the innovative team at Greenshine, is the commercial lighting industry’s first and only above-ground, 100% solar-powered portable lighting system. The Porta series of solar lights are perfect for a variety of use cases, from lighting a temporary parking lot at a music or sporting event to lighting up city streets. 

One of the biggest advantages of the Porta series is the concrete pedestal base. These can be moved with a forklift but are heavy and stable enough to support both single and dual light poles.

New Solar Technology

Innovations in the field of solar energy are rapidly progressing and continually becoming more accessible and cost-friendly each year. The LEDs currently being used in Greenshine’s portable lighting are using Cree LEDs, rated to last up to 75,000 hours, while the Gel Lead Acid batteries last an average of five to seven years.

Portable Emergency Lighting Equipment 

In situations where you need emergency portable lights, access to the power grid might be limited or non-existent. Greenshine’s 100% solar-powered portable lighting systems need only the sun to provide you with light and electricity. Once fully charged, they’ll still shine away at 100% capacity for up to six days of cloudy weather with what’s known as their “autonomous” smart power technology.

Light Fixtures

Batteries

Deep-cycle Gel lead-acid batteries are where Greenshine's portable lighting systems store the created solar energy. The batteries are rated to last between five and seven years. Once fully charged, they have up to 6 days of autonomy, providing 100% light function even in cloudy or inclement weather. 

Mobile Solar Tower

Another Greenshine portable lighting system is the mobile solar tower. Several options are available, including floodlights, 4 x 50w, and 4 x 100w, ensuring you have the right amount of light power for the job at hand. 

The mobile solar tower is equipped with a telescoping aluminum alloy mast that quickly raises the light source above the surrounding area. This mast stands 6’3” tall when retracted and extends up to 19’, providing a wide range of visibility. Timers can be set to control the operating hours, and each unit is also capable of continuous dusk-to-dawn operation. Due to being powered by the sun, the mobile solar towers are completely silent. The only required maintenance is battery replacement once every five to seven years.
