The Story

Naval Weapons Air Station China Lake, or NAWS, was known for their fighter jets on display in and outside one of their buildings. Their old flood lights had malfunctioned and, because of the poor lighting in the area, were subject to vandalism. The closest power connection was over 800 feet away, so trenching would have been time-consuming, costly, and unsightly. Time was running out for a solution.

Greenshine yet again found a solution for lighting the prestigious fighter jets. 6 of the Supera 60 lights were perfect for illuminating the jets, and they were ready for shipment!

The Supera lights were installed a week later saving NAWS potentially thousands of dollars. They improved their energy footprint as well by going solar, a direction that we may all take one day as the rising cost of fossil fuels impacts the world. We’re staying ahead of the curve by sticking to solar power.
