1.  Customizable Solar Power Panels 

You can install up to four solar panels on each of our poles. This lets you maximize the efficiency of your off grid lighting system by only using as many solar panels as you need. If your lights are located in a variety of environments, you can customize the number of solar panels on each pole, so you don't have to store more power than you need, and you're not left with weak light in some areas. 

2.  Adjustable Tenon Attachments

All of our solar lights come with sturdy mounting hardware and angling brackets. We use a tenon to attach the solar panels. This lets you tilt the panels for optimal sun exposure in your environment. You can adjust this for each individual light, ensuring each one collects as much solar power as possible. Our materials strike a balance between weight and strength. These panels will be exposed to harsh weather conditions for years, so this is one area where durability is of the utmost importance for your off grid lighting setup.

4.  Adjustable Arms

All of our lighting systems are designed with adjustable arms. Unlike cookie-cutter lighting systems that require you to use the exact same design for every light, we provide many options for customization. One of these options is the arm length on our poles. Being able to vary the arm length on each pole allows you to get the maximum amount of light exactly where you need it, regardless of the architectural or landscaping features around each light. 

5.  Minimal Light Pollution 

Although lighting up the night for safety and comfort is undoubtedly one of your main motivations for your lighting project, light pollution is a concern in many areas. We install our fixtures with a zero-degree tilt to minimize light spill. Many of our fixtures are International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) approved. The IDA works to make sure outdoor lighting is nature, neighborhood, and night sky friendly. The IDA guidelines help minimize wildlife disruptions and keep the beauty of the night sky vibrant while encouraging the use of outdoor and off grid lighting that is safe and energy-efficient. 

6.  Adjustable Battery Height

Our standard battery placement is 13 feet. This height will keep your batteries protected from vandals but isn't so high that you need a lift to reach them. As with many of our other options, this is also customizable. The battery can be mounted anywhere on the pole that best suits your needs. You can even place the battery inside the pole if you'd rather keep it hidden. Another option to hide the battery — as well as extend its life in extreme conditions — is burying the battery. If you want the best off grid lighting system, you should be sure the battery can be installed in multiple positions.

7.  Increased Battery Capacity

We provide you with up to four times the power of other systems. Our off grid street lighting systems can be fitted with up to two boxes that hold two batteries each. The power-saving technology of our batteries provides five to seven days of reliable light, even with no sun. Our off grid lighting systems also have solar charge controllers, which prevent your batteries from overcharging. 

8.  Powder-Coated Galvanized Steel Poles

A street light is only as good as the pole it's mounted on, so we don't cut corners on our light poles. We use steel instead of aluminum because it does a better job holding up to damaging vibrational forces. Steel is also more heat-resistant and less likely to warp than aluminum. In addition to using steel, we galvanize our poles with hot-dip galvanization, which provides better rust protection and longer life. The final process we use when producing our poles is powder coating. This is a more environmentally friendly method of finishing than other processes, which can pollute the environment with volatile organic compounds (VOCs). 

9.  Metal Templates

Along with pre-drilled holes, we provide metal templates for proper bolt placement. Unlike paper templates, which can tear and shift when you try to use them, our metal templates give you a sturdy work surface to hold your bolts steady.
