Solar Technology: Each system's photovoltaic panels use Greenshine Smart Power Technology, which gives the rechargeable battery up to 6 days of autonomy and prevents overcharging. Panels are composed of monocrystalline silicon, which delivers roughly 20% efficiency — meaningfully higher than the 15% typical of polycrystalline alternatives — so batteries last longer and deliver stronger lighting performance for the price.

How It Works: During the day, photons strike the photovoltaic solar panel and are converted to DC power, which is stored in the battery. Sensors in the light's electrical components detect when the sun has dropped below the horizon and shift the flow of energy from the battery to the light fixture for the night.

Maintenance: Temporary and portable solar lighting requires far less upkeep than traditional generator- or grid-powered site lighting — occasionally clearing obstructions off the panels and replacing batteries every 5–7 years, but not much else. Traditional high-pressure sodium construction lighting, by comparison, typically needs fixture replacement every 5 years.

Construction Site Lighting: Because these systems run on solar power, they operate completely silently with no vibration — a meaningful advantage over generator-powered temporary lighting on active job sites. Preventative maintenance is minimal, with batteries needing replacement only every 5–7 years.
